»O Valiant son of Bihar!«

by Vivekanand Jha

O valiant son of Bihar
In the ascendant your star
None stands at your par
In the world wide and far.

You have no match in intellect
Everywhere only you, one has to select
Though you speak various languages and dialects
yet none can raise fingers on your acts
this is not a fiction only fact.

You always win by merit
Which is in your blood and you inherit
None you insult all you greet
And reach parliament from street.

All have to consider you intelligent
That you achieve by being deligent
Though you cofront flood and drought
Yet battle of life bravely fought.

You never go to club and pub
As Bihar has been educational hub
You win the war of job
By making hands of others to rub.

In whatever situation
You struggle and revive
There is no investment
And no star hotel five.

From basic needs one is deprived
Instead of electricity
Only the current of flood live
Amidst hunger and diseases you strife
Tell your rivals and critics to survive
As you do on the edge of knives.

Let the whole world in jealousy burn
You advance ahead strong and stern
On your achievements
They have been and would always
Weep and mourn
But to catch your hands none has born.
