»I Say Pseudo Scientific Just To Sound Smart«

by Josh Hay

I was meant to make you smile. Burn your oath into me, walk the plank, I've taken over. I tread lightly, the pavement won't break my strides. Can't you feel my pulse? Hand to chest, I can't believe what I've become. This motion to end my war, I can't see past the clouds. I won't stop breathing. Oh, the pity. Can you save my broken heart? Sincerity won't save you now, you've lied to me too many times. Your lungs will collapse, your excuses are useless. You won't make it out alive. Your empire is slowly eroding. Can you save your dreams without shedding your own blood? Patiently you wait for my demise, life is so surreal. You've jinxed my life, so this is what demise feels like. You turned my life into a nightmare. Fall to your knees, and beg for mercy. I will haunt you. Why did you tell me, everything was fine? You should've killed me when you had the chance. Your blood is on my hands, as I walk the ocean floor, waiting for time to erase my memory. My memories have their own concious, your eyes are ever so burdening. Your silence is so relentless. Your last first kiss goodbye is ever so haunting. Fall asleep, and turn to dust. Whither my memory away. You never said goodbye. Spilling every lie you've ever spoken. This is what I get for saving us? Being lie to was never my forte. Lie in the name of the gospel, scream to the heavens. Smile for me. This will be your last night. Hold my breathe, wait for the blood to stop. Your body will whither away with the darkness. Congratulations for ending your own lie. Oh, the memories. Can you save yourself from your own mind? I never spoke a word. How can a memory kill me off? I will awake in the morning with a smile on my face
