»Dream Of You«

by Andreas Buchholz

I'm just blind and lame,
never had a name.
Life's a losing game,
ain't no one to blame.
Baby, it's a shame!

Come sunshine or rain,
ours are pools of pain.
Ride the morning train,
take an aeroplane:
Sorrow will remain!

I'm just fool enough to go on dreamin',
even though I'm feelin' blue.
I can't keep on reelin' with the demon,
'cause I dream a dream of you.

Walk whichever way,
there's no place to stay.
Each and ev'ry day
seems a devil's play.
Ain't no use to pray!

Love may be our fate,
all we know is hate.
Years and years we wait,
once it gets too late.
Here comes heaven's gate!

I'm just fool enough to go on dreamin',
even though I'm feelin' blue.
I can't keep on reelin' with the demon,
'cause I dream a dream of you.
