»My wife«
by Ryan Cremore
My wife, oh what a precious being now I have gained for me;
With an overflowing heart of charity that others truly can see;
How blessed the day I met you and how charitable God can be;
When with a heart of love and tenderness he said, "this woman is meant for thee";
With tears of absolute lovingness, I fell before my King;
For what can man say to this – but to give him everything;
I have received an angel from God that was meant for better things;
She was to fly in Gods presence and worship his holy being;
But God so loved me this day and he knew I needed help;
So he sent her down to me, for he knew how my heart felt;
Imagine receiving an angel, not a fantasy but real;
Imagine being able to hold her, your heart she will truly steal;
Her every breath encaptures me in ways I cannot tell;
With her hand of love she picked me up the day I stumbled and I fell;
Her skin shines like the morning sun her eyes will pierce your soul;
Her touch will leave you breathless and her voice will make you whole;
With every beat of her angelic heart she fills the air with rhythm;
Dissecting the good from the evil like an all accomplished surgeon;
With every step of her precious feet she makes the flowers glow;
And with her eyes she looks through you bending your will like a bow.
Now she has borne me three more angels, all meant for the Holy ones throne;
And one day he will take them back, to go back to his home;
But while I am alive and well, he will not take them from me;
For my heart will break in pieces and my tears will fill the sea.
A life of true fulfillment is the life you gave to me;
I suckle from your emotions like a hungry honey bee;
But let me not leave this poem without the words I came to say;
I love you like the sunlight, I love you more each day.
With an overflowing heart of charity that others truly can see;
How blessed the day I met you and how charitable God can be;
When with a heart of love and tenderness he said, "this woman is meant for thee";
