»The Leap«
Standing on the edge
About to take a leap
I've tried to fly before
But landed in a heap.
An angel led me here
As strange as that may be
Told me just to jump
That truth will set me free.
He opened my tough heart
Amazing there to find
A love so pure and rare
So hidden by my mind.
It's been the toughest climb
To find this perfect view
This time no turning back
This time my love is true.
It's taken many years
To reach this special place
Love shows me forever –
Timelessness and space.
I take a last deep breath
Close my eyes real tight
I'm ready to accept
The outcome of this flight.
If time has passed me by
Do what your truth must do
If love will give me wings
I'm on my way to you.
About to take a leap
I've tried to fly before
But landed in a heap.
An angel led me here
As strange as that may be
Told me just to jump
That truth will set me free.
He opened my tough heart
Amazing there to find
A love so pure and rare
So hidden by my mind.
It's been the toughest climb

If love will give me wings
I'm on my way to you.
