»To Zviko«

by Absai Gamariel

Conceived you were in harsh times
Fighting and screaming often times
Your mother, like a brainless chicken
Confused and chased by a kitten
Yet stuck in there you made it!

First cock crow, you broke the waters
The waters that freed you to a new beginning
A new beginning of hell on this earth
This earth that you will love to hate
Yet I pray, favoured you be by fate!

Grew you in times of trouble
Left you a bubbly toddler in trouble-
double
Had to do it for your sake
That for your birthday you could have a cake
Four years down the road, what a life!

Naughty by nature is your nature
First the middle finger
Later – What da...-my mind it lingers
Sweet by nature you are the sweetest
In my heart will thou closely hold

Grow and glow my sweet girl go!
Go glow and grow my sweet angel glow
Glow as you grow my life as you go
Yet be humble, noble, responsible and all
For the All Mighty is thou guardian for sure.

Scared am I, so afraid too
Just the thought of seeing you walk away once...
I have to be strong, Daddy Da has to be strong
Strong enough to let you go!
