»The Rise and Fall«

by Loyiso

And I die... My soul buried under the sheets of my heart..
Reborn, Incarnated with the freshest breath of my being,
I aproach life with a different point of view.

Infantly seeking play, I
rejuvinate my humble thaughts with toys stimulating mental growth.

The Heart reborn, into summer,
died of cold dark solitudes of winter nights.
My hand reaches to touch the void of growth,
Still so playful, mine soul bares witness to death and rebirth,
destruction and rebuild.
Rises and falls...

As I slowly grow, reaching adolecent reason,
Questions raised from witnesses and experiences of my once freshly ground spirit,
With the weathers blowing winds of terror,
I try to reach the very depth of the main cause of my fall.

I awake from eternal sleep, arise with the sun penetrating my existance. The alarm clock of nature.

I awaken spirits as i take the morning stretch, breathing the fresh breath of new day.
Remembering the death of yesterday that gave birth to today.

I died,
like your tree planted in winter dying in cold... The Fall..
And rose like the sun bathing my body in fresh morning... The Rise.
