»Emotion«
The mind that fools
The heart that lies
The pulse that feels no remorse
For lips that gesture the words spoken
It?s the eyes that see
The ears that hear
The hands unattached
That sense the change
It?s the smoke that chokes the burning desire
The river from tears that drowns my soul
And the winds that blow our love away
It?s the barriers that separate
The shadow?s that blind
And the shades that cover the light that ends the tunnel
Its my heart that turns to ice
My soul consumed by hate
My eyes that barrow tears
And my hand that rage takes over
Yet all you can do
With no emotion
Is walk away.
The heart that lies
The pulse that feels no remorse
For lips that gesture the words spoken
It?s the eyes that see
The ears that hear
The hands unattached
That sense the change
It?s the smoke that chokes the burning desire
The river from tears that drowns my soul
And the winds that blow our love away
It?s the barriers that separate
The shadow?s that blind
And the shades that cover the light that ends the tunnel
Its my heart that turns to ice
My soul consumed by hate
My eyes that barrow tears
And my hand that rage takes over
Yet all you can do
With no emotion
Is walk away.
