»You Fool«

by Masechaba Wessie

Entrenched and so absorbed in self
All you know is to strut those shoulders high
And pace as though you own my space.
You make me sick!

How dare you
Pull from beneath me my world
And throw it to nearest dump
Without shame
And step to me so arrogantly
And think I'll take you back once more

Who the hell are you?
Thinking your path is golden
And invincible is what you are
Who the hell are you?
Thinking my sun rises
Just for you and only you
And insignificant is what I am
Who the hell are you thinking you are God himself?
You make me sick – you really make me sick!

Take your ish and go!
And with your departure
Know that you are not taking with you
My happiness
My confidence
My beautiful smile
My sexiness
My charm
My pride
My charisma
My wit
And my peace of mind
With your departure you are taking with you
Your arrogance
Your selfishness
Your shallow self
And the ish you left behind
Please be sure not to drop a thing on your way out
I really have no room for all your ish
Not even for a little while.
