»when I was«
I walked through the valley silently as a young pretty girl
atleast everyone thought me pretty.Dreams of possibilities laid before me, and I knew my tommorrows.
As I woke to my todays, taking each day with stride, I stumbled,I fell and I got up, my today was on sight it was my tomorrow that was scrambled through my fall. yet through it all I cast my eyes yonder where my tommorrow crated a valley of shining pieces of glass that shined like rubies, I got up only to fall again.
My fall this time, caused by my glance behind me and I missed a step forward. it is then that I learned 'when I was, was when I was going forward. and from that day onwards I have learned that I can only be when going forward.and I saw the pretty young girl everyone saw when I was.
atleast everyone thought me pretty.Dreams of possibilities laid before me, and I knew my tommorrows.
