»My nature...«
Mine is the nature of a pure stream
I drink the quenching waters that run deep
I selfishly but protectively meander aways from unpure sources
I care not for plants growing on the bay
Because my journey is an unending one
I am forever flowing and cannot be stopped
My determination surpasses my purpose,
I pride of being touched once and not twice
But I fear the wrath of a gloomy day,
That day holds promises of my doom
It sings notes of a forced end..water running dry
But I stand unmoved
Because mine is the perseverance of a blazing sun
My presence is to be felt and seen
I shine my way through all circumstances
The intensity of my light gives me jitters
Because it attracts all – everyone and anyone.
My strength lies in sieving those I keep and those I let go
My heat scalds those I do not need
and it warms those close to my heart.
I know the tall order expectations of those around me
and I feel I can meet them cos of the energy reserves I hold.
Once again it hits me how ironis all this is,
How I suddenly stopped living for me but for others
How my dreams and needs have taken the back seat
Yet I keep pushing the ambitions of those dear to me.
Then it dawns to me why I have my nature,
The nature of a pure stream,
The nature of the blazing sun....
I have taken to the theory of living to give!

Wonderful expression!"
