»In my way«

by Cassie Schlosser

Though sunshine fades,
And clouds turn gray,
There's nothing standing in my way.

God's Voice is deep,
Thundering, rung,
As if our lives had just begun.

So sad we weep,
People pass,
So now untouched,
Remains at last.

A happy life,
Torn apart,
Our memories clear,
So they're still at heart.

So now they end,
Sorrowful good-byes,
And clouds are sailing,
In the skies.

Though sunshine fades,
And clouds turn gray,
There's nothing standing in my way.

The bells sing high,
The chimes ring low,
Love will stay,
And never go.

Because, Though sunshine fades,
And clouds turn gray,
There's always nothing in my way.
