»Word Sex«

by Abdul Milazi

I kindle your desire with carefully chosen words
as you let me enter your secret world
I light the incense of verbs to put you in the mood
because what I am about to give you is soul food

Sounds like sex
But is it sex?

I peel off the foreskin of my pen and ejaculate black semen
as you receive the seeds of my passion
I feel the attraction

Sounds like sex
But is it sex?

We sacrifice ourselves on the alter of sin
as our bodies melt in the physical fire of synonyms
Our desire burn slowly like Cuban cigars
until you turn me into a beggar

Sounds like sex
But is it sex?

Adjectives masticate in public
While similes softly stroke each other
until moist turns to dripping wet

Sounds like sex
But is it sex?

Idioms sway to music
Lusty eyes immersed in private musings
In search of another world
In search of a million unspoken words
In search of another chance
For another emotionally heated collective trance

Sounds like sex
But is it sex?
