by Ashley Fancher

Why do you taunt me with your devilish ways
The demon that haunts me
My mind is where he stays
My dreams become nightmares
I cant sleep at night
So I sit in darkness awaiting his fright
The shadows of darkness that dance when eyes are closed
Play tricks on your mind while your indesposed
You can't trust any one not even yourself
Your confidence and self worth sit quietly on a shelf
You have nothing left
You're all alone
You're a vitim of theft
But not of material things
Your mind, body, and soul are now corrupted beings
You're no longer human
You've become just like those demons who have brought you to your ruin
