»He addified me«

(by Mthandazo Lucky KaDlodlo)

When we keep Him happy,
He smiles,
And when He smiles, He illuminates our lives,
He found me at my lowest and raised me to the crest,
When i was broke, lost and heart-broken,
He mended me and showed me the way,

His presence is the essence,
He is a 'need' in my life,
For without Him am nothing,
He is the foundation, the everlasting rock,
He is true, firm, and steadfast,
Oh! prince of peace you addified me,

With no dime to my name ,you but fed me,
Tired and sapped of all energy you carried me,
Going in square-circles, you showed me direction,
You put a hedge of protection around my life, property and livelihood,
And when my so-called friends fell by the wayside, you remained with me in aloofness,

When in grief, you gave me solace,
When in need you clothed and sheltered me,
And when frightful and in doubt, you reassured me,

When you keep Him happy,
He smiles, and when He smiles,
He saves......
