»Waiting for you«
Waiting for you...
Inspite of all the reasons that tell me not to,
I have been waiting for you...
The first rays of sunlight in the morning
Start of a new day...
It just accentuates your absence...
One more day without you.
As night falls scorning at me,
Telling me once again as it has those numerous times...
That it's fruitless to keep hoping against hope...
Inspite of that...
I am waiting for you...
Every ounce of my still-sane brain
Screaming at me...
Promises are meant to be broken it says.
But those unspoken promises you made...
Those words of love which were left unsaid...
Those silent conversations which never took place...
All etched onto my memory, my heart...
Never letting me wander out of this endless path...
Of endless wait...
I keep on waiting for you...
