»Broken Pieces«

by Mouli Mukherjee

Broken relationship
A ghost, not real
Just remnant ruins
But it's still there...

Sudden flashes of time which has passed
The long forgotten yet familiar spark
Involuntary elation in the heart
Short-lived it is...
'Cause reality sinks

Bygones are bygones
Not meant to come again
Like 'glass', though broken,
The pieces, they remain...
