»A Cry Out!!«
by Maviyo Nkosi
Laying in bed thoughts passing through,
Thoughts of you showcasing deep emotions,
Emotions of pain and frustration,
Frustrated by your actions
I reach out, you pull away,
You say you care while you keep hurting me...
I'm lost, I'm confused, confused by your actions!
How could you do such things?
We argue and argue but no solution comes through
I call you but there is no answer,
Write but there isn't any response...
My life has paused,
Is this the life I suppose to live?
Why put me through such misery
When I love you so much?
Why cause such pain to the one
Whom you say you love?
Is pain part of happiness?
Thoughts of you showcasing deep emotions,
Emotions of pain and frustration,
Frustrated by your actions
I reach out, you pull away,
You say you care while you keep hurting me...
I'm lost, I'm confused, confused by your actions!
How could you do such things?
We argue and argue but no solution comes through
I call you but there is no answer,
Write but there isn't any response...
My life has paused,
Is this the life I suppose to live?
Why put me through such misery
When I love you so much?
Why cause such pain to the one
Whom you say you love?
Is pain part of happiness?
