»The Last Will«
by Jayram Daya
Palms together I bow in submission.
Lost and defeated I come to thee.
Lust, anger and greed ruined my minds caution.
Attachment and egotism is to flee.
Now fear of death the only option.
A tree with no fruits, I deserve from thee?
Childhood, youth and old age saw all in one.
Always pleasure better be and not thee.
Water, air and energy life began.
Heavenly illusion is now true to be.
Confusion blends in the setting age.
Should have loved you comes a cry for thee.
Mind, body and soul received your summons.
With filthy deeds how can I come to thee?
Pity and bless me with divine omens.
Beginning middle and end is life's escapee.
Hair stands on end, desires are demons.
Salvation is a choice I seek from thee.
