»Only God remembers (that's all that matters)«

by Marlene Cozett

You may remember her
You may even know her name
But she is gone now
She is out of the game

She did what she came to do
She made a difference like she was meant to
There may not be an accolade
Or a post in a hall of fame

But she remembers
And she even knows your name
But she is gone now
She is out of the game

She did what she had to do
And is moving on now
Time to start something new
Who knows she might even call on you

She going to do it again one day
And is going t make a difference
Come what may

And even if there is no accolade
Or a post in a hall of fame
She will never forget you
And she will know your name

But she is gone now
She has stepped out of that game
And God will remember her
Because He knows her name

And even though she is gone now
God is starting something new now
And she will make a difference again
Because God remembers her name
