I see love in the beauty
of a white rose.
In a red one I see beauty and pride
And I know that now one of these two
beautiful roses,
have anything to hide.
But I know someone like them,
with beauty and pride combined.
With a tenderness in her so dearly,
With a laugh like sparkling wine
Her pride and her beauty she uses
in oh such a special way.
Like the Butterflies that dance
on the roses,
She just steels your heart away.
With nothing to hide whatsoever.
With a mind wide open and free.
You ask me who is that someone?
Is that little grand daughter of mine
of a white rose.
In a red one I see beauty and pride
And I know that now one of these two
beautiful roses,
have anything to hide.
But I know someone like them,
with beauty and pride combined.
With a tenderness in her so dearly,

Like the Butterflies that dance

She just steels your heart away.
With nothing to hide whatsoever.
With a mind wide open and free.
You ask me who is that someone?
Is that little grand daughter of mine

Christopher Kudyahakudadirwe: "This is a good poem that releases in us the passion for our children's children. They are mirrors in which we sometimes are able to see ourselves. Their mischief and the tricks that they play on us reflect what we were when when we were their age. It makes me wonder how God manages to recreate us in our own offsprings! Good reflections. Keep going."
