»In Love«

by Zandile Mboneni-Chansa

My heart skips a bit...
This is how I feel when he lays those tired looking eyes upon me.

Man, you make my blood rush!

With flirtering kisses on my forehead, you just layed your hand in my heart and those wall I've built so hard just crumble.

Closing my eyes with every tender touch.
My breath escaping in small gasps and me wanting you to hold me forever.

Vulnerable as I am,
I just want to get lost in your love.
Thinking that the past which made me fear love might as as just made me love fircely.

I put my head down, my heart pounding, tears run down my cheeks as am not sure if this is right.
Am I ready to go back to this game that has broken me into pieces?

Man, you've stole not just my heart, but my soul too.

How can something so beautiful, feel so wrong?
I guess the question I should be asking is "am I ready for this love you are presenting to me?"
