»I hate you«

by Andreas Buchholz

You're walking down this winding road,
always picking up the lucky penny,
you found me like a fallen star.
(Well, them fallen stars were quite so many.)
?
You said to me "I'll make you shine",
but my heart for you was never burnin',
I told you I'm a child of night,
so your feelings slowly started turnin'
?
Anyway,
a life in love had never been my fate,
then you, you came and taught me how to hate,
now I hate you,
yes, I sure do.
?
I could not take you to the skies,
only lead you through a world down under,
but you kept looking for the light,
one beyond the land of storm and thunder.
?
Anyway,
a life in love had never been my fate,
then you, you came and taught me how to hate,
now I hate you,
yes, I sure do.
?
Still walking down that dirty road,
you may grab another star so lonely,
supposed just to relume your soul,
but this life's no daydream, it's life only.
?
Anyway,
a life in love had never been my fate,
then you, you came and taught me how to hate,
now I hate you,
yes, I sure do.
