»The very last word«

by Laura Arman

When the very last word is said.
It's all gone.
No feeling.
Only pain.

When the very last word is a memory.
So distant.
Not captured.
No longer free.

When the very last word is over.
Not remembered.
All forgotten.
Abandoned.
