»Behold, you are beautiful«

by Mashell Chapeyama

If it's the glow of your face, behold it-
For you are a beloved one.
To look down on yourself is losing what you have
To confide in yourself is building on what you have.
Eye yourself, know what you are
Count your abilities, nurse your capabilities;
Then you will shine.
Behold, you are beautiful.
