Our love was not other than this:
A shared gaze from afar
A slight smile lost in the heat of a blush
and the quickening of our hearts.
An unexplained connection...
Our love was not other than this:
A hazy sense of nostalgia
unabated by the passing of time.
Silently it has crept
hidden and unnoticed...
And, if as though written
our love is no more than this:
Only moments in time
like tears in the rain...
A shared gaze from afar
