»Dreams«

by Rob Budwick, May 1, 2001

In dreams a mind can travel
down many different roads
and thoughts can make a dream come true
no matter if you are young or old

If a dream holds inspiration
and a body gives it will
then who's to say it's but a dream
for dreams don't make the time stand still

Dreams can start in a peacful slumber
then start to grow as a body lays
they can last but a few seconds
but good ones, they can last for days

In a mind thats clear and simple
dreams will always show a smile
but other dreams can wear a body down
and they could last you quite a while

Dreams can build a mountain
and they can crumble to the ground
if in a dream is where you find me
then dreams prove that the world is round

Dreams are shared by rich and poor alike
by the mighty and by the weak
dreams can also become a reality
if good company your dreams seek
