Alieux Casey

I was born in Brooklyn, and raised there and in Wisconsin (what a culture shock that was!). I'm still trying to find my purpose in life. Every morning that I wake up is another opportunity to do God's will. I've been writing since I was 10, when my speech pathologist turned me on to Langston Hughes,
Amiri Baraka, Gwendolyn Brooks, and Khalil Gibran. I've got a few things published. Most recently on www.noyse.com. I'm working on getting my collection of love poems, The Love Experience Part 1 published, while working on a novel, and a collection of short stories while working a full time job at an insurance company, and trying to find my soulmate. Why do I write? That's like asking why do I eat or breathe or sleep. I need to write, to live.
