Writer's Profile: Coenraad Vlietstra

Biography My full name is Coenraad Vlietstra. I'm named after my grandfather. But fortunately or un- there are three Coenraad Vlietstra's before me in our family: so simply call be Coenie. I was born in Sabie, Mpumalanga, South Africa on 10 March 1988. My struggle with society (or the social norm) as seen me tracking quite allot. I've attended three high schools: Nelspruit Hoërskool, Roodepoort Hoërskool and Rob Ferreira. I matriculated from Rob Ferreira. I've been writing on and off since I was fourteen. I started writing drawing my inspiration from my sister Theresa Vlietstra, who I believe to be the true writer in the family and me just a pretender. I hope you find my poems at least readable and can't wait for some criticism, since I haven't had much support for my writing from my family. So tell me what you think. -Coenraad Vlietstra |
