»Misery«

by Kusain PoeticHustler Mokone, February 16, 2011

Misery my blessed downfall
The pain that bleeds me dry
Waking to darkness cause the light is swallowed
by my souls demise
You have taken me and shown me the end

Misery my friend
You came and swept me back to reality

Misery my confidant
You have shut me from beauty
You have concealed fantasy from my heart

The grimreaper to my dreams
The Paul Bearer to the urn that holds
my heart's ashes

The coffin to my soul
The gravesite to my happiness

Why have we kissed from such glee
I have crossed the peace within to a war
unmeasured
I am lost in your games
Where do I stand

You have taken my will to live
My will to carry on

I am finally a slave of your torture
I am now a child to your barren world
I feast on your hate
And sleep on your betrayal
I have lost me

By name no longer am I known to be me
But by name shall I be known as misery
I stand on the edge of your control

Who lives out there to come save me
Help
I'm falling deeper into the black
