My chick
she is like a lily in bloom
when she walks inside a room
I feel this feeling inside
nothing but love for her

My chick
she is my compass
the only true north close enough
should I miss the land so dry
and my boat sails astray
cause of tyrant winds and tides
so cruel

I will follow the light
cause like the lighthouse
her love will lead me home
her love will lead me to safety

And should I in a forest
among all the men so gay
that somehow my boulevard
I have lost
towards the northern star I shall
like a bird towards its nest
it shall lead me back to you
it shall lead me to safety
