»Nokwazi.«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, September 1, 2017

The broken black girl
singing praises to the almighty.
Her fine adjusted vocal cords
designed for creating symphonies-
is used to show excitement when she
is about climax- while making love to
devils.

Blessed with beauty although empty
eternally-every blessing has a specific curse.
Seeking love from men with hearts drenched
with hate-her own symptoms of self-hatred are
treated with meaningless relationships.
She is forever searching- filling her voids with
broken promises and soul ties conceived from lies.

The broken black girl singing praises to the almighty-
I hope he hears you.
