»Poetic Freedom«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, November 13, 2017

My lips that mold words from my
heart, my tongue that aligns my emotions
with my thoughts. My mind that is free
to roam in my imagination-lost in the
wilderness of memories. The spirit is liberated
as words are constantly breaking all the boundaries
that my past placed on me. I am free to paint an
image with a thousand words, I am free to breakdown strong
holds. I am poetically free.
