»One Night Stand«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, June 27, 2018

It made sense when
we made love on a cold
night. As we enjoy the simple
pleasures that our bodies give
us, tears slowly pouring out
of yours. As you remember the
forced death of your child.
As you further explain your
dark past about your unborn child.

I cannot help but question, if I will
reincarnate your dead child or be the
step father to a dead soul. Making love
to you suddenly felt like a seance to communicate
with your dead child.
