»Autumn Leaves Blessed by Death«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, July 12, 2018

Autumn leaves are beautiful.
Autumn leaves are intriguing.
Autumn leaves are amazing when they
show no sign of life and they change color.
Autumn leaves tend to be a handful if you do not maintain
the ground you walk on.
Autumn leaves blanket the ground to remind us about
the tragedy of life.

For every leaf that falls on the ground, it is a reminder that
a person died and fell from the tree of life.
Autumn does not mourn for the dead, but it welcomes their
death on the ground.
Autumn leaves that wither away remind us that life will fill
your body with youth and replenish your spirit.
Autumn leaves remind us that a man will grow old and wise.
He too will wither away, and fall from the tree of life, and
blanket the ground when he dies.

Yet, autumn leaves are simple and plain but full of wisdom.
The curses from living a painful life will wither and disappear
and it will be a death that is blessed.
