»The bear«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, August 13, 2019

Hunting and scavenging the land,
with its paw the landscape is being
re-written. Paving its own path, growling
in anticipation of any threats.
It harnesses the energy of
mother nature as it travels and
grows. Each step, each breathe,
each victory it grows.

This poem is dedicated to my nephew Tawana Khayalami Takarinda
