»Just my Imagination (Running away)«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, August 29, 2019

Her beauty is alluring when she walks by.
Her smile is noticeable miles away, while
gracefully walking in her stride.
My sole wish is to adore her.
I guess it is imagination
running away with me.

I ask the heavens to make fate play
its part. I want her to be mine.
To hold her hands in a sunflower field
and promise her eternity.

I guess it is my imagination running
away with me.
