»Dear GOD«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, October 1, 2019

I stare at the walls while depression
eats away my soul.
Dark times reveal people who
add more darkness than light.
Atheists have shown me the path
to heaven while Christians have been
showing me more of the devil.

Dear GOD would you please take a second
and hear me out. If I scream and shout
will it be loud enough. Well at least will you embrace
me in your heavenly arms.
