»Every Wall Is A Door«

by Ratan Bhattacharjee, August 31, 2020

The four walls confine us within
We talk to the walls our joys and sorrows
The ceiling becomes now our welkin
The walls have now ears to hear us
They also have now keen eyes to see
They patiently stand all day and night
They provide us so reliable company
Walls are borders against the enemy virus
Inside the four walls our happy hearts glisten
Walls really save us as they can listen.
The walls fight the virus like the closed door
O God! from a wall we want what more !
