»Psychedelics«

by Brendon Tawanda Takarinda, January 28, 2021

Love is a drug.
Sex is a drug.
We all hallucinate for a Utopia of peace and love,
even though reality keeps us mentally sober.
Our consciousness and Spirits are forever in conflict.
We try to numb the pain with stimulants, half the time
we self inflict.
Religion the biggest drug keeping the masses high,
while a relationship with GOD keeps the spirit sober.

Life itself is a drug.
