»One year.«

by Louise Isaac, June 22, 2022

One year ago
365 days
My suit is ready,
Your on your way.

You pull up I break down,
Earth swallow me whole.
In my tears I could drown,
Coz This really ain’t cool.

To the crem I follow,
My heart is broken.
Sad, Empty and hollow,
My fears have woken.

But your coffin I carried,
While holding my breath.
But it’s not the end,
Not even in death.

You’ll not be forgotten,
It just will not be.
For as long as I have oxygen,
You’ll forever be with me.

So tonight we’ll look among the stars,
In the darkened sky.
And whisper that we miss you,
But we’ll never say goodbye.

»Some days«

Some days I don’t like my reflection, / or the colour of my hair, / I don’t like what the scales say / and I can’t find anything to wear. / Some days I get too quiet / and no words will leave my mouth. / When my world feels like it’s ending / and my life is going south. / When days feel like their  sign in to read more »
