»Dancing for the dead«

by Mthunzikazi Mbungwana, August 6, 2008

These Vampires are speaking in parables.
Eating my blood
Every juice in my muscles is greedily squeezed dry.

I am dancing for the dead
With no rhythm in their melody
I have hurt my toes
I have been dancing on top of thorn covered surfaces
Cried all my tears
Shouted on top of my voice
Paid for all my future sins
With zero appreciating faces they smile
Cold rehearsed smiles covereS my soul with ice

I am dancing for the dead
The selfish ungrateful fools
Heartless, synthetic
Pathetic liars, self centred
Brain dead zombies
I am dancing for the dead.

"I hear you.
Read my poem, Winners, Losers and Survivors and you will see we are on the same page. I work as a Job Coach helping people with disabilities find jobs. Their families make my job difficult because they do not want them to work for various reasons. The more you try to help people the more you will be hurt. Jesus is a perfect example. But you cannot stop Dancing for the Dead, especially the living dead."

"I like it but kind of sad!!! nevertheless keep on going girl!"
